About Keith Hackett

Keith Hackett is a former First Division, FA Cup Final and Euro 1988 referee.

He is widely regarded as one of the 100 best referees of all time.

Hackett’s refereeing portfolio includes the 1981 FA Cup Final and West Germany vs Italy at the 1988 European Championship.

He has also refereed in the League Cup Final, Community Shield and at the Olympic Games.

In 2004, he was appointed General Manager of the Professional Game Match Officials Board, responsible for referees in English Football.

 

This week’s special guests

Mark Halsey and Roger Dilkes are this week’s special guests.

Dilkes refereed First Division matches between 1983 and 1997. He is regarded as one of the best referees not to receive FIFA status.

Halsey was a Premier League referee from 1999-2013. His most notable matches include the 2008 League Cup Final and 2007 FA Community Shield.
